A substantial tiger’s eye necklace featuring polished beads averaging approximately 12 mm, distinguished by an intricately carved Chinese-style accent. Rich honey-gold bands move across the beads against deep brown tones, displaying the characteristic chatoyancy that gives tiger’s eye its distinctive appeal.

The elongated carved element measures approximately 3 × 1 cm and appears to depict a stylised guardian beast, probably a pixiu, alongside a traditional Chinese cash coin with a square centre. Drawing on Chinese auspicious imagery associated with prosperity, good fortune and the protection of wealth, the carving adds symbolic interest and sculptural character to the necklace.

Measuring approximately 98 cm end to end and weighing 177 grams, the necklace has impressive substance and a generous long-line silhouette. Its 66 individually knotted beads display natural variations in colour and banding, with polished surfaces that catch the light as the necklace moves.
