Long Baroque Freshwater Cultured Pearl Sautoir Necklace, 122 cm 48 inches

A striking long sautoir necklace composed of individually shaped baroque freshwater cultured pearls, displaying an attractive creamy-white body colour with strong lustre and colourful pink, green and silvery orient.

Each pearl has its own organic form, giving the necklace a wonderfully sculptural and individual appearance. The pearls measure approximately 9–12 mm wide and 11–15 mm long, with an average width of around 10–11 mm.

At an impressive 122 cm / 48 inches long, the necklace can be worn as a single dramatic rope, doubled for a classic layered look, or wrapped more closely around the neck for greater volume. The substantial 86 gram weight gives it excellent presence when worn.

The pearls are in very good condition with bright surfaces and particularly attractive iridescent lustre. They are strung as a continuous strand with intermittent knotting between the pearls rather than being individually knotted throughout.
