Description

A coordinated golden South Sea cultured pearl and diamond jewellery suite, sourced in Italy and comprising a pendant necklace and matching ring.

The necklace centres on a round golden South Sea cultured pearl measuring approximately 13mm, suspended beneath a butterfly-form surmount set with eight bright, eye-clean round brilliant-cut diamonds measuring approximately 2mm each. The pendant is stamped 18K and bears a lotus-flower maker’s mark. It hangs from a fine 44cm trace-link chain stamped ITALY and AU750.

The matching ring is centred on a round golden South Sea cultured pearl measuring approximately 11.2mm, flanked by two bright, eye-clean round brilliant-cut diamonds measuring approximately 4mm each. The pearl is raised above an elegant openwork gallery.

The pearls display strong lustre and rich golden colour. They are closely matched, with a subtle natural variation in tone visible on close inspection. The ring pearl appears clean to the unaided eye, with only minor wear visible under magnification, consistent with careful previous use.
