An elegant natural jadeite pendant, carved in relief with two deer beneath leafy branches, combining a tranquil landscape composition with soft green and lavender colouring.

One deer stands beneath the foliage, while a second rests below, creating a balanced scene within the gently tapered plaque. Carved rocky details anchor the composition, while polished contours bring definition to the animals and surrounding landscape.

The jadeite displays delicate celadon-green areas blending into pale lavender and creamy white, with natural mottling and varying translucency. Light passing through the stone reveals further depth, highlighting the relief against its softly coloured background.

Measuring approximately 4.9 cm high, the substantial carving is finished with a smooth, polished reverse and an 18k yellow gold bail, stamped “G 18K.” Small diamonds accent the front of the bail, adding a discreet touch of brilliance.

The jadeite was examined loose by GCS (Gemmological Certification Services), report reference 5787-0362, which identifies it as carved jadeite jade, belonging to the pyroxene mineral group, with “no indications of impregnation.” The gold bail was fitted following examination.
