The brooch is crafted in 18K gold with a silver-plated finish and features two removable flower heads, each secured by a screw fitting and centred with an old-cut diamond of approximately 0.20 carat. The detachable construction is a particularly desirable feature, allowing the floral elements to be removed from the branch and reflecting the ingenuity and versatility of high-quality jewellery from the period.

The sculptural branch is richly detailed with diamond-set leaves, buds and stems, giving the piece a delicate yet highly dimensional appearance. The contrasting old-cut diamond centres provide additional brilliance and focus to the two flowers.

The pin fitting is in 18K white gold also.

Presented in its antique fitted burgundy case with gilt decoration, which adds significantly to the character and presentation of the piece.
